I was just reading several of the rip-off reports and I have to say, I agree with every single one of them. Several of the reports have stated that the individuals have been contacted by an employee claiming to be a police officer of some sorts. If this is done you need to get their name, badge number, the agency with which they are working for, their employee number, and any other information you can get, all while recording your conversation with them. This is AGAINST THE LAW! No person can impersonate a peace officer of any type, I know this because I am a Deputy Sheriff. I have been studying law enforcement since I was 16, I am now about to be 31, and have a degree in criminal justice. This is scrupelous behavior and should not be tolerated by any one. Once you have the information, you need to contact your local authorities, file a complaint and then contact any Federal agency that you can file this type of report with. By doing this you are creating a paper trail for them that cannot be erased and if enough people file complaints, then something will be done about it, I can guarantee it! Now, on to my original reason for this report. If the vehichle dealerships know about the practices of Drive Financial, then why are they continiously pushing them on car buyers. I know they are supposed to help people who have less then perfect credit, I understand that, but there are other companies out there who would also be willing to help. So, if anyone is wanting to file a class action lawsuit, why don't they include the dealership from which they purchased the vehichle. They know the practices of Drive Financial and continue to support them in their endeavors. This is just my opinion and know what they say, opinions are like AHs, every one has one! Sarge!
